How the operation works

Three machines, three roles, one continuous process.

1. Loader stagesA front-end loader stages woody material at the feeding area.
2. Excavator feedsAn excavator feeds material into the Tigercat.
3. Tigercat convertsBAR's technician runs the carbonizer and manages ember control.

Site requirements

BAR always provides the Tigercat 6040 and its technician. For everything else, you choose: we provide, BAR to supply, or not sure.

RequirementDaily need
Tigercat 6040 Carbonizer + technician (BAR provides)1 machine, 1 technician per working day
Excavator and operator1 machine, 1 operator
Front-end loader and operator1 machine, 1 operator
DieselTigercat 50 gal · Excavator 40 gal · Loader 30 gal per operating day
Water supply10,000 gal per 10-hour working day
Connected operating water tankMin. 2,000 gal, connected to the Tigercat and refilled through the day
Pumps, hoses & connectionsAs needed to keep the connected tank full
Water truck / tractorOnly if your water setup needs delivery or moving tanks
Cleanup-support tank1,000 gal (BAR), separate from the operating tank
Working hours are not all processing hours. Setup, warm-up, fueling, water refills and cleanup happen within each working day. BAR confirms productive processing hours after reviewing your material and site.

Optional CIIP Sustainability Report

A Circular Carbon Infrastructure Platform (CIIP) report documenting your demonstration.

Stated professional value: $7,500

Proposed contents

  • Biochar lab analysis / IBI characterization (per agreed testing scope)
  • Tons of wood processed and biomass diverted
  • Biochar produced and yield, with moisture basis stated
  • Estimated carbon stored, from actual measurements and a stated method
  • Potential on-property applications and product markets
  • Project photos and operating summary

Good to know

  • The value shown is the report's stated value, not its price. BAR confirms scope, pricing and timing.
  • Input wood tonnage is not the same as carbon sequestered.
  • The report does not promise verified carbon credits, a biochar buyer, sale proceeds, or agency approval.

Keep your biochar

BAR's goal is for you to keep the biochar produced, with support finding onsite uses or potential markets.

Support available

  • Onsite application guidance
  • Help exploring potential markets

Services BAR can quote

  • Deployment / application
  • Blending
  • Biochar transport
  • Sales support
  • Return visits

Services are not automatically included. Biochar ownership and carbon-credit or environmental-attribute rights are handled separately.

How quoting works

1. Tell us your scopeComplete the form below — open questions are fine.
2. BAR reviewsSite, feedstock, water, transport route and duration.
3. Final quoteBAR confirms scope and sends your quote.

Equipment travels from BAR Carbon Yard #1, Zolfo Springs, FL. BAR confirms the route and billable mileage.
